How to use Lizts on your phone or computer: keep your items, photos and stock in one place, and post to OfferUp with Lizts Auto-Lister if you want to. Some parts may be switched off while we test; if a menu item isn't there, it's not available yet.
Getting started
- 1. Go to Create your account. Enter your first and last name, email and a password (a short sentence works well).
- 2. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in. It works for a few minutes; "Send a new code" gets another.
- 3. You land on Items. Tap Add item to add your first one.
Everything works on a phone, tablet or computer, in any modern browser. Nothing has to be downloaded unless you want Lizts to post to OfferUp for you.
On a phone the menu is at the bottom (Items, Stock, the big + for Quick add, Queue, More). On a computer it's on the left.
Your items
- Cards or table: switch with the two buttons above the list. Search by title, brand or item number; filter by status.
- Statuses: To be added, Ready, Posted, Hold, Sold, Lost. Only Ready items are posted (Posted ones can be relisted).
- Edit: open an item, change anything, then Save. If it was changed on another device in the meantime, Lizts tells you instead of overwriting.
- Photos: add, remove, and pick the cover. The whole photo always shows in the square (nothing is cut off). Location data is removed from photos when they're saved.
- Select: tap Select to pick several items at once, then post or relist them together.
Quick add
The fastest way to add something: photos, a title and a price, then save. Fill in the rest later. On a phone or tablet, Take a photo opens the camera; on a computer you choose picture files.
Photo bin
Shoot first, sort later. Upload a batch of photos into the bin, then group them into items whenever you have time.
Stock check
Walk your shelves with your phone and answer for each item: In stock, Sold, Hold, Lost, Not sure or Skip. Type your name first, so you (or your helpers) know who checked what. The answers update your items' statuses.
Posting with Lizts Auto-Lister (optional)
Lizts Auto-Lister is a small Windows app that posts your Lizts items to OfferUp for you. It's a download because it signs in to OfferUp with your own OfferUp login on your own computer; your OfferUp password never leaves that computer and Lizts never sees it. You only need it for posting; if you post by hand, skip it.
- Connect it once: open Posting queue in Lizts and make a pairing code. Open Lizts Auto-Lister on your computer (Start menu) and type the code. It stays connected for about a year.
- Post: open an item and tap Post now (or select several on Items). The job waits in the queue and runs when your computer is on and Lizts Auto-Lister is open.
- Relist: posts it fresh for new eyes. Listings that have buyer chats are kept up, never removed.
- Several OfferUp accounts: pick which one to post with; see them under Accounts.
- Needs a Windows desktop or laptop for now. A Mac version may come later.
Check with OfferUp
Your computer (through Lizts Auto-Lister) reads the listings on your OfferUp account and Lizts shows where they don't match your items: missing, extra, or different titles.
Insights
What sold and for how much, what's live, and what could use a relist (posted longer ago than its "Relist after" days). Worked out from your own items; nothing extra is collected.
Spreadsheets in and out
- Bring items in: Settings ▸ Bring in items from a spreadsheet takes an Excel .xlsx or a .csv file (for example the listings.xlsx from the old desktop lister).
- Download: Settings ▸ Your data gives your items as a CSV (opens in Excel), or everything as one JSON file.
Keeping your account safe
- New device or unusual place: if you sign in from a new browser, after a long time away, or from somewhere far from your last sign-in, we ask for a code we email you. You also get an email "New sign-in" alert; if it wasn't you, choose No — sign it out and change your password.
- Passkeys (Security page): sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password. Lizts never sees your fingerprint or face.
- 2-step sign-in (Security page): add an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password…). Save the recovery codes somewhere safe; each works once if you lose your phone.
- Your devices: see every browser and phone signed in, and sign any of them out.
- Staying signed in: you stay signed in for a month, and every visit pushes that forward. Sign out on shared computers.
- Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page; the emailed link works for about an hour.
Settings and privacy
- Profile: name, pickup ZIP code, and the last line added to every description (pickup place, payment).
- Personalize Lizts for me: on or off at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
- Delete account: removes your account and everything in it, for good. Listings already on OfferUp stay there.
Support chat
Tap the round chat button at the bottom right of any page in the app. It stays open while you move around Lizts.
- The Lizts helper (a bot) answers common questions right away. Tap Talk to a person any time to get in line for our team.
- Questions about money, getting into your account, deleting it, disputes or your personal data always go to a person.
- Screenshots: paste one (Ctrl+V) or tap the paper clip to add a photo.
- If nobody is online, leave your question: we answer in the chat and email you when we do.
- The list button at the top shows your past chats. After a chat ends you can rate it.
- Never share passwords, codes or full card numbers in the chat. Lizts staff will never ask for them.
Problems and questions
- No code email? Check spam / junk, wait a minute, then use "Send a new code".
- "Too many tries"? Wait about 15 minutes, or use "Forgot password".
- A menu item is missing? That part of Lizts is switched off for now.
- Photos look old after a change? Pull down to refresh or reload the page.
Still stuck, a dispute, or anything else: use the support chat in the app, or email support@lizts.com. Our support team may look at your account (read-only) to help; every look is recorded.
